A pause, not a goodbye from Montserrat Focus

This week, I’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily pause news coverage on Montserrat Focus.

As a fully self-funded, independent operation, I simply don’t have the resources right now to give the site the attention it truly deserves.

For the time being, I’ll be focusing on Montserrat Focus’ sister website Anguilla Focus (anguillafocus.com), but remain deeply committed to Montserrat and will be back as soon as I can!

Over the past year, I’ve aimed to provide coverage that’s often hard to find elsewhere – including parliamentary proceedings, court reporting, and investigative stories.

I’ve also made sure the site remains free to access, because everyone deserves to stay informed, no matter their economic circumstances.

If you’ve found my reporting valuable and have any thoughts on funding opportunities, I’d love to hear from you. Your support means everything!

You can get in touch at montserratfocus@gmail.com or WhatsApp +44 7453 809576.

In the meantime, printed newspapers are available from my friends at Alliouagana Express and regular island updates can be found at Discover Montserrat.

Montserrat Focus has been a real labour of love – and I’m so grateful for the support and encouragement you’ve shown over the past year.

Thank you for being part of it all – I’ll see you again soon!
