Female agricultural producers and processors are invited to take part in a special market event in observance of International Women’s Day.
The Social Services Department is setting up dedicated booths at the Brades Art and Education Centre on Friday, 7 March, where participants can showcase their products from 7am to 2pm.
Farmers and artisans can register by Thursday, 6 March, in order to sell their fresh fruits and vegetables, condiments, jams, jellies, and other locally made goods.
This year’s International Women’s Day theme – ‘Accelerate Action for Women and Girls’ – highlights the contributions of women who support their families and communities through their work.
Those wishing to register can contact the Social Services Department at (644) 491-3895, 495-3895 or 495-7491 by 4pm on 6 March.
