Mauricia Barzey has been crowned Miss Montserrat 2024, with Carisa Brudy securing first runner-up and Danté Daniel taking second runner-up.
The highly anticipated event, which took place on Saturday, 28 December, at Carnival City in Little Bay, celebrated the beauty, talent and spirit of Montserrat.
The evening was filled with excitement and anticipation as the six contestants showcased their poise, confidence, and creativity in front of an enthusiastic audience.
They dazzled with stunning performances and answered questions with grace and intelligence, embodying their pride in the island.
Along with the Miss Montserrat crown, Barzey was awarded the title of ‘Miss Photogenic’, as well as prixes for ‘Best in Swimwear’ and ‘Interview’.
First runner-up Carisa Brudy won the prize for ‘Swimwear’, while second runner-up Danté Daniel won both ‘Evening Wear’ and ‘Best in Evening Wear’.
Essalene Martin walked away with ‘Best in Spectacular Wear’ and ‘Spectacular Wear’, and Anna-Kay Turner was named ‘Miss Congeniality (Amity)’ and awarded ‘Performing Talent’.
Miss Montserrat 2021-2023, Nia St Claire, awarded the prizes to the contestants and took her final walk as pageant queen during the event.
