Isles Bay Beach Bar has been nominated for ‘Best Caribbean Beach Bar’ in leading newspaper USA Today’s readers’ choice awards for the fourth year running.
The popular bar on Garibaldi Hill has received the recognition as one of the regions top beach bars in the competition three years in a row.
In 2022, USA Today readers voted the bar into the sixth position, and in 2023 it reached the eight spot, and in 2024 it was back up to number seven.
Last year, on announcing the winners, the online news website wrote: “Enjoy the cool Montserrat trade winds at this beach hangout.
“Sit on the veranda decorated with fairy lights and soak up the tranquility and beauty of nature while satisfying your food cravings with grilled seafood, burgers, salads, pizza, and chicken.
“Sip a cocktail or choose from the bar’s rum selection – and be sure to save room for the Guinness brownie with ice cream.”
This year Isles Bay Beach Bar is up against beach bars in Jamaica, Barbados, the Turks and Caicos Islands, Anguilla, Grenada, the British Virgin Islands, Curacao, and other Caribbean hotspots.
On its Facebook page the bar said it is proud to be nominated, and wrote: “Please vote for Montserrats Isles Bay Beach Bar. Let’s tell everyone how special Montserrat is.”
One vote a day can be cast on the USA Today website here until 30 December.
“Let’s show the world why Montserrat is the ultimate island getaway,” a Facebook post from the Montserrat Tourism Authority said.
“Let’s bring this win home! Every vote counts – spread the word and let’s put Isles Bay Beach Bar at the top!”
