Montserrat Focus seeks sponsors to support independent journalism

We are seeking financial sponsors to support our independent, community-driven journalism in exchange for prominent brand placement across all of our platforms.

Established in February 2024, Montserrat Focus strives to fearlessly and impartially report on all issues affecting residents and friends of the beautiful Caribbean island of Montserrat.

We cover a wide range of topics, including politics, crime, education, health, community events, and sports, providing our readers with comprehensive information that matters most to them.

In just nine months, our website has climbed to the second position in Google search results for ‘Montserrat news’ and attracts thousands of readers on the island and worldwide each month.

While we are proud of how far we have come in such a short time, we want to give our readers so much more.

We have ambitious plans to delve into more complex topics and employ local expertise in photography, videography, sports, and community events to enrich our coverage.

However, achieving these goals requires significant resources, and sustaining a comprehensive news website is not possible without financial support.

We are very grateful to those who have so far supported us through donations or by purchasing advertisements on our website or newsletter.

Additionally, we are now pleased to welcome sponsorships.

Sponsors will receive prominent advertising placements on our website, newsletter, and social media platforms, and also receive featured articles and unlimited job postings.

These partnerships will provide organisations and individuals with valuable exposure to local and global audiences, while proudly supporting the essential work of independent journalism.

If you would like to explore sponsorship opportunities with Montserrat Focus, please email us at montserratfocus@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp at +44 7453 809576.

Thank you for helping us build a stronger, more informed Montserrat.

Montserrat Focus will maintain editorial independence in all circumstances to ensure the integrity and impartiality of our content.

  1. Your efforts are appreciated. However, no one seems to know who you are and what your connection to Montserrat is.

Please publish some information about yourself and your motivation, so that people can know who and what they may be supporting.

    1. Thank you for your comment – it’s greatly appreciated! You can learn more about me and my motivation in the ‘About’ section of the website here: https://montserratfocus.com/about/. I’ll also add some details to this article. While I hope the work speaks for itself, I completely understand the importance of transparency. Rebecca Bird, Editor
