Montserrat’s poets are invited to sign up for a series of free workshops, organised by World Poetry Movement, Montserrat and Montserrat Arts Council.
There will be five two-hour sessions hosted online from 2.30pm to 4.30pm throughout February and March.
Topics this month include ‘Introduction to Poetry’ on 18 February, and ‘Poetry about the Everyday and Unexpected’ on 25 February.
In March the workshops are ‘Creative Writing Exercises and Critique’ on 10 March, ‘Poetic Imagery’ on 24 March, and ‘Writing about Environmental Crises’ on 31 March.
Leading the workshops are Linda M Deane, an award-winning Barbadian poet, essayist, editor and storyteller, and multi-award-winning Barbadian poet, Kerry Belgrave.
