St Augustine Catholic Primary School gets a new principal

Audris Jno-Baptiste has been announced as the new principal of St Augustine Catholic Primary School in St Peter’s.

A Facebook post from the school on 1 July said: “With 26 years of teaching excellence and a strong passion for community service, she brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our school.”

Jno-Baptiste’s vision for the school is to create a nurturing, inclusive, and academically rigorous environment where every student can thrive.

“We want to build a strong community rooted in faith, respect, and mutual support,” she said in the post.

The educator’s extensive background and commitment to education and community make her an excellent leader, the school said.

She previously taught for 19 years at Convent High School in Dominica and seven years at Montserrat Secondary School.

“Please join us in giving her a warm welcome and supporting her in this new journey,” the school added.

Jno-Baptiste took up the role on 1 July, taking over from interim principal Ann Marie Dewar.
